Social Compliance Policy

As Ömür Baskı Ambalaj A.Ş., in line with our vision, mission, goals, and values, we aim to fulfill the requirements and legal obligations of Social Compliance within the scope of our Integrated Management Systems. With the support and trust of all stakeholders within a dynamic corporate structure, and by monitoring scientific and technological advancements, we are committed to continuously improving and developing towards the establishment of a healthy and conscious society. We pledge to carry out activities in this regard and ensure their sustainability.

The following principles are an integral part of ÖMÜR's policy:

-In strategic decision-making, to act in accordance with the goals and values of our Social Compliance efforts.

-Complying with the requirements of Social Compliance efforts.

-Working to continuously enhance the awareness of Social Compliance among all employees and stakeholders, and improving the system through effective actions and relevant training based on the results of Social Compliance audits.

-Assessing the risks and opportunities of Social Compliance initiatives that could affect the attainment of company objectives within a risk-based approach, and ensuring the continuity of improvement activities.

-Acting in accordance with the principles and procedures for employing children and young workers, and refraining from employing workers under the age of 18.

-In all communications with our customers and suppliers, as well as in all business interactions including third parties with whom the company conducts business, we strictly refrain from tolerating bribery and corruption, and adhere to ethical standards.

- Treating all employees equally without discrimination based on race, religion, language, ethnic origin, political opinion, marital status, age, pregnancy, physical disability, or gender.

- Basing work principles on voluntarism rather than obligation.

-Continuing our work in accordance with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by respecting the personality and dignity of each employee.

-Paying employees their deserved wages, determined based on their skills, in a timely and complete manner, including national holidays and official holiday pay, overtime compensation, and all other entitlements. Upholding a fair and livable wage payment policy by establishing a minimum wage above the minimum wage in the wage policy.

-Regulating working conditions within the framework of existing laws.

-Complying with the requirements of the Environmental Management System, Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ETI Base Code and Conditions.
